I am very happy and proud to inform you that my cover created for the "The Milaneser" project has been selected together with other covers for the exhibition entitled: "Bonvini1909 × The Milaneser. Eyes on the city"
HINTS OF STORIES
Bonvini1909 is a cultural and creative enterprise born from the recovery of the ancient Cartoleria and Printing house Fratelli Bonvini Milano, founded by Costante and Luigi on 9 July 1909.
The business evolves rapidly becoming a stationery-printing shop in response to the needs of an expanding industrial area, rich in a diversified clientele for which Bonvini designs and prints everything, from letterhead to price lists, with the help of three machines: a pedal from the late nineteenth century, a cylindrical Imperia top from the 1930s and, in the 1950s, a Heidelberg Stella.
The business was then carried on by Leila Bonvini, daughter of the founder and her husband Luigi Cambieri, maintaining the authenticity of the family business unaltered until recent years.
One hundred years of history have remained intact in a corner of Milan, preserving a place rich in narrative potential and the preservation of the material culture of the twentieth century.
